This will be the third attempt at a television series, the world of Cruel Intentions (1999)
Story
After a tumultuous incident at their elite college, stepsisters Caroline and Lucien decide to maintain their power and fame by seducing the daughter of the Vice President of the United States. A direct-to-video sequel to Cruel Intentions 2 (2000), in which Amy Adams replaced Sarah Michelle Gellar as Kathryn Merteuil, it was originally a scripted TV series before being adapted into a feature film.
It follows the film Cruel Intentions (1999)
Gellar later reprised her role as Kathryn in the 2016 NBC pilot Cruel Intentions (2016), which was not ordered to series. Where did you find these actors and why are you trying to remake this iconic film!

Do you really think these people can play these parts better than Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon or Slema Blair? I think the kid today who’s not used to seeing really good acting might think it’s good, but it’s not.
They just got cut
I’m sorry, but I think this 3rd attempt will be the last, but I don’t get it. I don’t know where these young actors are coming from, but they’re not being taught by the older group of actors.

I’m sorry, maybe because I’m older and I grew up with the best. The new ones are few and far between.
